Interestingly, this could be circumvented - the boot rom does the logo scroll using data from cart, THEN, in a separate loop checks it vs local copy. If you can make the cart read different data at each stage, you are golden! IIRC Argonaut&

Used to work with two programmers: First would type out a few lines of code incredibly fast with lots of mistakes (and not bothering to backspace over wrongness) - then go back and clear up damage using notepad level editing. Second would s

I seem to remember that being used as an attack vector at college: Identify a terminal that was logged on as root (albeit physically inaccessible), then find a way of getting message to it, then send a string that programmed answerback and

When I am interviewing: Candidate having competed in programming competitions - big green flag. But, if success in competitions is, in their view, their biggest asset - amber flag. I would extend this to most competitive endeavours.

A recipe for disaster is for a manager's code to wind up on the critical path, then become a blocker - bad code & bad management. A possibly better approach is for managers to have a few side proejcts, scouting out potential risk r

A variation on this is not swoop in and make discoveries that the team is very close to finding - let them enjoy the thrill (even if you have to nudge them a bit in the right direction).

As a brit, that reads ok - to me, it does not imply intention. "Fred killed himself whilst overtaking a lorry on the A30" would not imply suicide (but possibly poor judgement).

Also, As well as words, I would recommend practising the key diagrams that represent the projects(s) - so you leave enough space for the important elements, and don't fall of edge of page/board.
