Fluid Framework (a project I contribute to/work on through Microsoft) supports this via token in our default service implementation, but we don't have integration with an ACL DB.

YJS (and Kevin Jahns!) is fantastic, although I'm not sure they're interested in addressing all of these problems. In so far YJS has been very focused on replicating state from one place to another. And the parent comment may be

You could start by watching the Fluid Framework github.com/microsoft/fluidframework (I'm a dev on the team). We solve a lot of these problems. This whole article speaks to the longer term vision. Even the article's Title

Is Zoho investing in WASM to do other canvases? I'd love to learn more about that solution.

Is this canvas actually rendered with WASM? I don't see WASM in dev tools on their sample doc. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1N1XaAI4ZlCUHNWJBXJUBFjxS...

I was reading East of Eden recently and that description really wormed its way into my mind. Even if it's worse today, we knew there were ~35 year drought cycles!

This comment completely shocked me. Quick zillow verifies it... If you had asked me, I would have guessed <$200k. What drives those prices?

First of all, congratulations on getting back on the horse! I can only imagine the journey from depression and leaving school to Software Engineering was impressive in its own right. Don't lie, but I would try find a way to show a stro

I also get very frustrated by high latency text editors, but a consistent 1hz rendering can be slightly less frustrating if renders get applied consistently and you're confident your key strokes were recognized and will be applied.

What is bistability in this context? Confidence that the ink will rest in 'on' or 'off' configurations? How does that relate to greyscale with multiple configurations and how does ClearInk manage pixel state?

Let me start by saying... this is as must read article. I share it often. It is 1. extremely fascinating 2. patently ridiculous 3. something to learn from He documents almost every part of his daily work environment in painstaking detail.
