If you're developing a keyboard shortcuts extension, would you rather have an idea about how the product is being used or stay completely in the dark? Which do you think would help you more in developing new features?

Yes, he clearly only pointed out facts and nothing else. This is a fair and honest assessment of what happened.

10 minutes ago? I get your point though, smoking has gone down. Would you be open to raising taxes on trolling?

Ah, the old "We just need to change human behaviour" solution. Yeah, that would definitely work if it worked.

So when you say there's no reason, you mean that there are business reasons but you disagree with them?

Maybe not everyone shares your view that this is "one of the worst business practices of recent times"?

Can you point to an actual example? Telling people to go google something feels like a very wimpy way of dodging requests for citations. Like saying "Go read a book". Edit: Thanks for the edited links. I don't see how discuss

Do you have any examples of people's "flippant accusations of Nazism in everything they see"?

This sounds serious. How many people have been accused of being Nazi supporters in this way?

On a larger utilitarian scale sure, but once a driverless car kills a person many legal and ethical issues will arise that you can't just brush off with that argument.

I keep seeing this argument, and wonder if we read the same memo. And to mirror your view, I'm getting pretty tired of people just brushing off criticism of the memo as "Strawman! Fake news!" when it's anything but. I gu

Brushing all of this off as "scientifically supported sex differences" is quite simplistic, uninformed, and cartoonish by itself.

That is an impressive strawman you've built. Yes, if you assume that people you disagree with take the most extreme position possible ("are certain that misogyny rules the world") then yes, you can always be right! Good luck,

If we assume that all mistreatment has the same source. I wouldn't make that assumption, but if you want to explain away the possibility of misogyny being a problem then you certainly can.

There always seems to be a good crowd of people that start with the assumption that there is actually no problem in society with sexism, and therefore there must be some other explanation. That's when the "But what if" and &q
