You're never sure, it's always a drama and thriller with any kind of political decision with the current dictatorship, no matter how minute the decision is. Even though the government has backed off with the law, the explanation m

From what you are saying, it looks like you also practice drills, at least semi-regularly. I think that is key, no matter the caliber. Hell, even using pepper spray should be exercised once or twice a year.

I don't know if this analysis also included changes in what is considered hypertension. They've changed multiple times, every time decreasing the limit. Sure, it would be great to have 110/70 every time, but even for a health

I'm sorry, but as a Serb from Serbia, I cannot agree with the first part of your answer. Belgrade is not a pedestrian friendly city by no means, and you are dependent on cars more then in an average European city. I've spent some

Sure, technology didn't come to all parts of the world at the same time and/or was not affordable. I was born late 80s in Europe and can relate.

Not surprising. Compare a car from 1996 and 2008 and today. The 2008. one will have bells and whistles closer to one from today, while the 1996 will look much older comparing to 2008. Also the one from 2008 will have enough electronics and

I'm no molecular biologist and I really don't want to attack the this Dr. Doug guy ad hominem, but he must have taken a hell of a bad career turn to end up selling essential oils over Facebook with such a resume.

Haha, not what I expected to find on HN this morning, but I'm glad I did. Some human quirks are fun. Maybe because this guy doesn't look intimidating.

I've seen this being mentioned in other comments, and besides WSL2, I've used PyCharm (a close relative to IDEA) connected to containers, Vagrant and plain VMs for years. I suppose the rest of the IntelliJ products have the same s

General advice when subscribing to NYT is to do it through PayPal. Once you cut them loose from their funding from PayPal, they let you go without hesitation.

Same here. I think I have it as long as I can remember. At a few points in my life it was slightly "noisier" but I think it was some kind of ear infection (once confirmed) or debris. In a very quiet room I would hear it, and if I
