Maybe you should re-watch the episode :) . This was much more than a "design flaw". There was an issue with the pitot tube design, but it was enough to bring the airliner down like a rock. A combination of route planning, misunder

Almost all airline accidents in modern days are "freak" accidents, but I personally consider AF447 one of the freakiest of the freaks. The long wait to figure out what was wrong probably amplifies the feeling.

Great news, but I think the importance of the -80 degrees centigrade storage requirement is underestimated. Serbia, where I live, has ordered this vaccine. And our medical system is far from world-class, but leaps and bounds from less devel

I'm not sure it's the access to weapons that makes a whole lot of difference. Certain events in the US come first to mind when you mention it, but where I live there is practically no weapons readily available, even certain air ri

I can't seem to find a reliable source, would AWS or Azure penalise you for using a VPN for torrenting? I've heard about accounts being terminated because of hosted seedboxes on VMs, but I'm not sure what would happen with a

I would argue Serbia is traditionally aligned with Russia/Soviets. That's the narrative for the last 25 years maybe, and I think it was just the path of least resistance. Boomers in Serbia were more westernized than you would expe
