How would I plug in a Switch in that case? The Switch actually requires AC to use the bundled dock whereas you can use a PSP hooked up to the TV on battery power. The PSP video cables are not THAT long. If you can plug it into your TV and u

You plug it in? It's literally plugged into your TV already it's not a big deal to plug the AC adapter in the other side. The PSP Go had a dock for connecting to your TV and supported using a DS3 controller for TV play. Of course

Part of it is weight. Safety standards and other things have really ballooned the the curb weight of cars. A Chevette weighed at most 2000lbs. A new Chevrolet Sonic (which is also a subcompact)? 2800lbs.+.

Years after the Xbox version. The Mac port came out in Dec. 2003. The Xbox version released in Nov. 2001. It was also published and ported by MacSoft whereas earlier Bungie games like Myth I and II and Marathon were Mac from the beginning.

The trademark method of lockout is also probably not legal at least in some parts of the world. See Sega vs. Accolade.

Of course you can. There's a good amount of homebrew out there for various retro systems and a good chunk of those will sell you the ROM to download or even offer a physical cart. If you drive enough hype you can even make money portin

There's other devices that work fine wired or over Bluetooth or a dongle like the Xbox One S controllers. Maybe Logitech thinks it would be too confusing as the mice they make that support dongles and Bluetooth also support multiple co

It's 100% doable. My Logitech G903 works when plugged in only by the micro-USB cable and the dongle unplugged (It doesn't have Bluetooth). All the settings are stored on the mouse too which is great because it's 100% OS agnos

And yet they let you use the Magic Trackpad and keyboard while plugged in just fine. IIRC they even run wired if plugged in too. I think they just wanted to recycle the chassis of the original Magic Mouse to save on tooling and parts but th

What I don't get is why they bundled that version for so long. It would have made perfect sense to stop bundling it when emacs switched to GPL3. It just caused annoying issues where trying to use emacs in your terminal would bring up t

Linus went over this on the WAN show. Apparently the option to hide pop-ups is only available to subscribers in the new subscriber version and is not an option for those on a perpetual license.

Amazon still shows as DDR2 being available from brands such as Tecmiyo and Kuesuny. With prime shipping even. You can even get DDR1 still. Now whether it's new memory or just recycled memory that's been repackaged I have no idea.

As a user of a 15" 2018 MBP, Apple has had their fair share of scams and traps. They had no business stuffing the chips they did in that chassis. Especially the i9s. The cooling is woefully inadequate even for my base model i7 and I ha

Doesn't the T420 lack USB 3 though? I had a T430 and even with the "good" 900p screen it wasn't very good with awful viewing angles. I did recently pick up a cheap W520, same keyboard as the T420, USB 3, an actually dece

An Xbox Series X or PS5 is $500. Comes with everything you need to play except a TV. A Series S or Switch is $300. A Mac/iDevice + eGPU + controller is not going to cost less than PS5 and especially not less than a Switch or Series S.
