I am not familiar with the topic at hand. I know that include os stuff is young. But I wonder, would it be easier to build the website with go, with an os included, and then deploy that? Both the docker and nix approach seem like alot of ra

I don’t think a server should serve the same content in xml and json. 1. Why cater to this preference - you must ultimately force the consumer to do certain things to consume your data. Where do you stop? If some prefer the data in excel9

I think it is best left unasked. If you care to know, you can take a day to think about it. If it is not worth you thinking about it, then let it go. But if you care enough - Learn about what they did, scan the source code, look at how the

A need may arise if a calculation took longer than a frame. (I’ve encountered this making a little programming language that generates graphics that updates in real time as you type. I’d imagine similar issues with web based latex-> pdf

There is nothing preventing setting a debounce function to update frequently. For example, why would you want to calculate updates more than 30 times a second, or why would you want multiple updates during a single animation frame ( ie upda

I agree - I don’t think I’m qualified to say which sides/groups filter more, nor should that be a main focus. It would be great if we could work together harmoniously and professionally without so much group identity bs.

The concept of class warfare is a popular tool everyone knows of, but there is a nasty new war that is going on- personality warfare. IE- Conservative aggressive males use police jobs, the DHS, and border protection to give jobs to their ch

I agree with the spirit, but why use O here at all? Isn’t the idea that O collapses to its highest ordered term, so if you don’t want that, don’t use it. You could use a normal function. Like t(n) = f(n^2) + g(n) + rt

This article makes no effort to see if the bug is also replicated on tweets by non-left or non political. There is scant evidence to support the idea that this is more than a bug. If a hard to fix bug is going to occur, of course you can ex

I think the method of creation is sometimes relevant. Like if you can prove that you wrote a poem before someone else did, but they registered the same work coincidentally I don’t think you will be treated the same as if it is shown that yo

Yeah, I think that while this seems like a small question right now, it will be incredibly impactful how it is decided for the future. Imagine if Micheal Jackson made one album, but a week later AI’s made thousands of albums that sounded ju

As the demand for computer automation increased, the market produced tools that less intelligent people could use, like Visual Basic vs C++. Management fads infect the dummies. How many lisp nerds do you see at an agile circle jerk meetup?

Some think this is a marketing gimmick. I don’t: 1. They would not be able to resist making the price a cute number, like Prime day’s date, eg $7.16 2. They would later claim intentionality to not seem incompetent. 3. If they stuck to a pro
