You're seriously wondering whether or not someone is going to trust their secrets and the source of their income with a complete stranger, and further pondering whether or not you can trust an anonymous criminal?

Terrible article. Interviewing companies about their plans to move to Windows 8 less than a month after it's released? Of course the numbers are going to be low. I would be surprised if 1/3 of the people interviewed had ever even seen the

Actually the sign-up page is what is jarring me. Everything I click on sends me to a sign-up page. What if I just wanted to look at the auctions? Wouldn't it be preferable to only force people to have an account if they want to bid? How

While I appreciate Tesla as much as the next person, the statement that he's responsible for "most" of Edison's inventions is wholeheartedly not true. Edison is still seen as being largely responsible for things like the phonograph and kine

Note its not private property Actually it is private property, and the size of the property does not matter either. The court ruled the way it did because the area of the property that was monitored was deemed to fall under the category o

I'm considering signing a couple of my employees up, but I'm reading the description: you'll be expected to learn and use grep, ssh, apt-get, tail and man I also see that restarting services is in there.. however I don't see anything that

Scaling that up to laptop or desktop screen size is a completely different set of motions. Why do you assume the motions are different? Apple has already proven this with the Magic Trackpad for desktops.

Hundreds of billions of planets, and this is just our one small galaxy. Just given the sheer scale of the universe, I think we almost have to be foolish to think that we're the only life forms that exist in the whole thing.

I'm two months or more into my Windows 8 experience, and I love it. Articles like this are just spread FUD in a desperate grab for pageviews. Windows power users will likely have no need to ever touch a metro app. The only people that will

This comes from a book called The Richest Man in Babylon http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Richest_Man_in_Babylon_(boo... It's a very quick read, and you can probably find it online for free, as it's nearly 100 years old. Everything you ne

Along the same lines, I've always had the thought that the reason IPv6 adoption is taking so long is because encryption is actually built into the protocol. What happens to all those billion dollar wiretapping facilities all over the countr

Personally the only reason I go to eBay is to get away from "big sellers". If it were a free-for-all everyone with a massive inventory would drown out all of the individuals (the core of the site).
