https://www.bitinstant.com/ is often recommended for quick purchases. Most people keep bitcoins in their own wallets on their own computer, USB sticks, whatever. Make multiple copies of your wallet, and encrypt them if there is any risk

This solidifies the idea for me that Canonical is completely clueless. Asking for donations AND bundling Amazon shopping ads? That's over the line IMHO. Yes, you can disable the Amazon stuff, but leaving it as a default is a poor choice.

This is probably the only forum where this rant will, be relevant, but as someone who has used ThinkPads for a long time (and has a business that sells them), I have to say the "back" and "forward" buttons on the newer keyboards are a terri

This is literally the worst article I have ever read on this website. Saying Windows relies on security through obscurity, and then listing 2 out of 5 points saying Linux is more secure because nobody uses it (which isn't even true). This h

Visited the website, I really don't see any indication of what the product is. Your about page says: "We wanted to make a tool that helps you promote your work online. Something that doesn't waste your time. No bells and whistles, just prac

The user codes for these products are 4 digits, and 4 digit codes do not offer much security. I had a 4 digit Master lock in 7th grade, and an 8th grader spent a little bit of time with the lock, determined the passcode (chosen at random),

I own a first gen iPad, and I can tell you it won't be the same. Apps will slowly stop working, and updates will be restricted to newer firmware only, meaning my only option is to delete the apps that I had been using and paid for... or hea

I'm an American that travels extensively, as well as lives abroad. The only places outside the US that accept US dollars are places located near the US border, or heavily trafficked tourist areas.

Regarding your biggest complaint, they did not remove "tons" of desktop software. In fact, all of the software that you mention all exists in Windows 8. If you want to use Windows Photo Viewer or Windows Media player, just right click what

I've used 8 for about a month now, and I don't miss the start menu at all. It's just a lot of un-necessary clutter. If you want to start a program, if click start and type the first letters of the application.. done. If you want to dig th
