The fall of the Soviet Union was anything but graceful. Within months of the dissolution of the USSR Russia had children becoming prostitutes in order to get money for food.

Ireland or at least Dublin Airport is unique in that it has 'US Preclearance' so when you land you simply pick up your bags at the carousel and leave the airport as you've passed US immigration based in Dublin Airport. This m

It sure is and many do choose gold for this reason. It depends on how much risk you want to expose yourself to.

Because gold will appreciate reliably to an extent but a company can appreciate in value far exceeding what gold can -- that's the risk/reward trade off.

EU has signed up to lucrative trade deals with Canada and Mexico since Brexit and has many more similar ones with other Asian countries. International trade is complicated and it is very much something the EU specialises in.

The only people who matter in an election are the voters so I'm always perplexed so many feel comfortable blaming non voters for the problems voters made. This non voter shaming is quickly eroded as soon as you ask voters if non voting

Buy the 'ripen at home' ones in Lidl as opposed to the 'ready to eat' ones which are definitely hit or miss and probably undergo some accelerated ripening.

I love MacBooks and Mac machines however they aren't cut out for specialised work. I have a M4 Max with 128 GB RAM. If I play Civ VI (a game released in 2016) on it for a few hours without limiting the FPS it will heat up till it turns

GDP of Mississippi and Bavaria, Germany are about the same. You would be simply insane to think that Bavaria wasn't far far wealthier than Mississippi though. This doesn't show the limits of either the US or European ways of life

Who broke Engima -- the German encryption used during WWII? Polish mathematicians. Depends on who you want to credit I suppose. Such huge tasks are usually accomplished in bits by many people.

I'm hoping YCs next 'big' move for growth is to open an accelerator in either the UK or the EU. The US is moving in the wrong direction and the EU needs institutions like YC. Plenty have tried and failed to replicate YCs succ
