GM is... frighteningly misinterpreting the law at best. If I drove on my own private road on my 1000 acre farm, GM is going to collect and sell my driving data based on that drive, because that's what they do. However they would argue

This is such a good article. No notes. I share the same annoyance with how often algorithms are used - if we could give power users an ability to say "yes, I know what I want" and bypass all the recommendations, that would be idea

I think it's partially Goodwill, partially business. Google does get some benefit out of being the default search engine for those additional users. It's not substantial, and Cromes is the dominant browser in the market, so I thin

Consumers in the US constantly complain of inflation and things becoming unaffordable, so much that it's become both a GOP and dem talking point. They definitely want to encourage US-made goods, but that would mean prices go up. and re

This is such an interesting strategy, thanks for sharing. We typically get bogged down in meetings by people dropping constant nuances and edge cases and overly complicating things when a new proposal is presented. I might see if we can ado

This is just especially stupid for JPMC. Their hybrid policy was 2 days a week remote, so most people WERE going into the office every week. On top of that, JPMC uses virtual desktops so for the vast majority of people, their job looks the
