Intel's Ohio plant, mentioned in the article, is going to be focused on larger-node processes, not the ultra-high end like you mention.

Who on earth is telling you that you are a slacker for not buying Wifi on your flights?

This is not true. I just sampled green bubbles from both dark mode and light mode iOS and macOS and got the same hex of 34c759.

Also the article doesn't mention that the iMessage blue also fails the same WCAG test. I just ran it myself.

Just like how over-ear headphones make my hair sweaty and itchy after a few hours, I can't imagine (personally) enjoying the feel of a clunky VR headset adding extra pounds onto my face.

The difference in adapter isn't such a big deal when you're only charging at home or at a Tesla supercharger station. Things with the differing connector only come in to play when you're at a non-Tesla supercharger or wall ch

Haha yes. I was very disconnected from EVs and the auto industry before working at GM. Either way it's just surprising they didn't help design the standard and work to make it better.

As a (very recently) former GM employee, this is really exciting. The new division is created almost entirely of engineers, many poached from Tesla, Shell, and other energy industry players. Not to sound like a talking head for the company

> Apple also uploads a lot of logs, etc from their devices to their servers, and opting out of apple level tracking at some basic level is often just not an option. Ex, they upload battery behavior info and use it to improve the battery

You're comparing the advertisement strategies of a TRACKING device with a weapon capable of killing a human... I do not think it is a good idea to make a false equivalency between the two.

I genuinely don't understand the endgame here. If I'm understanding it right, this case would essentially hold social media companies liable for messages of terrorism spread on their network. So... more censorship is the answer? T

USB C has been around for some time, same with USB A. If you had both ports in your power outlet you'd have been set for nearly 20 years worth of peripheral charging.

On the flip side, Apple has FDA clearance to use their device for single-lead ECGs, so I would trust their heart rate reading over a hacky tech startup's.

That's what I'm thinking about. They don't want to text people so they move to a Meta-owned service. I feel like we should all use Signal at that point.

Maybe. But have you ever considered stores that offer pick up vs. dine in options? In Ohio for instance, pick up orders of food of any kind aren't taxed, but dine-in is. So if you're at a fast food restaurant they can't magic

Since iMessage is restricted to those with an Apple ID, what's stopping them from releasing cross-platform apps that function only if the user has a valid Apple device? I think it's a business choice, not a spam one.

Perhaps, but blocking an email domain is orders of magnitude more restrictive than prohibiting a VPN connection.
