On the plus side, the tank like nature of the 2013s means I'm still good for a bit with mine. Replaced the battery a few months back. Need a new adapter too. The machine itself is great though.

Should do this for everything. 15 cent an item surcharge for every minute you wait in line at the grocery store. Bus crash? 10k added to emergency room bills that day. crank those restaurant prices through the roof for dinner.

Probably more that they aren't as heavily invested in selling the idea that we are close to smart general AI. Compare it to Musk who constantly talks up the idea while the actual AI systems his company has deployed are killing people.
