I think in this case it's fair to assume all the donors here are against right to repair.

Honestly this is a fairly mild example of blatant corruption in the US. It's so commonplace I really wouldn't expect anything less.

I’m incredibly happy to see wages at the bottom rising, but I think there’s a serious lack of discussion around obscenely high executive pay.

Good, American cities aren't designed for human beings to actually live in. Hopefully this will cause major zoning reform & allow us to have dense, healthy, mixed-use cities.

The math is on my side. The average age of 117th Congress is 59, while the average US citizen is 38 (at the time of this being noted in 2021).

I see other comments aggressively criticizing this suggestion (& I'm happy to see it) but I think staying busy with something fulfilling outside of your job is generally good advice. It doesn't need to be resume filler. The

While there’s definitely a performative aspect to it, I think there’s a genuine & sincere interest in rejecting social-media manufactured-reality. These teens, regardless of sincerity, are rejecting a demonstrably negative & harmfu

For what it’s worth, I didn’t find the tone of the article unpleasant. As you said, anything less might be a bit boring or dry. The way it’s written now, at least to me, comes off as sincere/authentic (in addition to be interesting &am

Good! There's finally a way to escape the awful, soul-sucking residential zoning prison that keeps people trapped in a suburban hellscape. The idea of settling into a 1+ hour daily commute for the rest of your life is genuinely depress

I just tried something similar to generate a bunch of boilerplate for parsing some deeply nested & complex JSON using Rust/Serde. It gave me a handful of errors, but it was ~90% correct. Which, to be fair, is still shockingly good.

This is incredibly cool & inspiring. How familiar were you with Rust before starting? Any resources you can share for programming the circuit boards you use? I've had some embedded Rust ideas myself but am not sure where to start!

Coincidentally, last night I started porting an actix-web project to Axum. In my very brief experience, I have found Axum (0.6.0-rc5) to be more ergonomic compared to actix-web. However, I haven't rewritten all the existing features ye
