Though, fairly buried after using the term constantly throughout the beginning of the piece! Didn't find it myself so I came back to HN and saw GP comment. Then cmd+f for "italian" to find it in the article.

There are plenty of uses for snap scrolling and carousels that aren’t rotating hero images. See something like https://airbnb.com which uses it for categories a’la the App Store. Image galleries, Netflix-type layouts, etc.

Fairly certain all music sold through iTunes has been DRM-free since like 2010. Amazon too, I think. (Movies, not so much.)

Not sure how much is required to brute force these, but AirDrop has been used in notably sensitive situations like the Hong Kong protests[1], where I’m sure anonymity was assumed. Proximity doesn’t mean I would like to share my phone number

Overcast. It has a “smart speed” feature that cuts out breaks and pauses in a way that’s almost unnoticeable but will save/gain you hundreds of hours. And audio clip sharing and great leveling in addition to privacy features. https:&#

Another fun aspect of non-breaking[1] and other less common spaces that I’ve realized recently… If you’re ever trying to use a short or previously-used username: many signups will strip out a regular space, but they won’t always catch a ZER
