Midway through Battle of the Five Armies, when CGI dwarf Dain emerges, it’s difficult to not think “wow, they really wanted to get this movie done with - couldn’t even bother to cast a human for this character.”

Thanks. I hadn't really looked at it from that perspective. But still that's not mandating that people _get_ the vaccine. That's mandating that a _business_ requires customers/employees to have it (and there are always w

My aunt and uncle did this. My uncle worked for uncle sam as an engineer of some sort, spent the last few years before retirement building a sailboat, and then retired at 55. They lived on their boat about 10 months out of the year for the

Entertainment sells. Putting a “well actually” after each statement by the subject would reduce the entertainment value. This article is a narrative of the subject’s life told from various perspectives. The stories conflict, and as readers

Exact same thing happened to me. I couldn’t even get a response from anyone in IT. That’s what happens when IT is a handful of people for a 50k person company with a third party offshore help desk.

Are we using the word “mandate” correctly? So far all I’m seeing are requirements in order to utilize certain public/private resources (like visiting a place). But if you’re not using those resources, then the vaccine isn’t required. I

I buy on ebay all the time and personally I think it’s fine. The site is essentially like amazon (for my use) except you actually see a picture of the exact item. I buy a lot of used kids books. On Amazon you can’t see the used books before

What are the indications that you need to upgrade (aside from "device has broken")? I've been the same using an 802.11n (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) since 2014, as well as the same modem since 2014. Aside from flashing a newer version

I don’t know that much about APs. They have to be wired into your router? I have some nearly-dead spots in my house, and so I think I need APs. Not sure that I could send wires around the house. I use a buffalo airstation with dd-wrt.

Sure, but visibility is also impacted and is not something that improves with consistent rain. People should always adjust their driving style when it rains.

I have lived in both cities. This is accurate. In LA, I think the issue is that people drive the exact same in the rain. There are no adjustments made to speed or space for braking.
