I'd have to look again, but it's right around $18k. It's like $17,950 or something like that. It's an odd number.

Or. It's more like this - $90k bill - you pay your annual $10k deductible - the remaining $80k is only covered 80% because emergency visits only have 80% co insurance - you now owe $16k, after you've already paid $10k out of pocke

Not entirely related to just GPT-4, but I feel like not many updates will matter for ChatGPT until they completely overhaul the system prompt. This seems to be the reason why ChatGPT has gotten "dumber". https://twitter

Sounds like a PR-friendly way to do layoffs. Force people back into the office knowing 30%+ are going to quit.

Managing 50+ remote workers taught me that results matter, not hours. It's all about the output. Work asynchronously, focus on the end goal, and as long as it's legal and ethical, the 'how' and 'when' are often

Ah, totally missed that part. I was mostly thinking about the low/no tech angle.

The new LandCruiser 70 series matches exactly what you want. I believe you can buy them in many countries (U.S. not included). https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a46001237/toyota-land-crui...

It's totally a failure of the platforms. Some of the permissions I've had to request from the Slack API to do the simplest things are insane. Not to mention the "justification" for requesting certain scopes. Like what? Y

The list of things I hate about it is longer than the list of things I like about it. Certainly the workspace selector is miles better. Almost everything else is worse.

Discord is the one I struggle with. I have 30+ slack workspaces, but with the new design I can hide all of them except for the in context one. It's an improvement over the old UI. Discord still doesn't have this, I belong to 100+

I agree. BUT, having worked in tech for well over a decade now, you should absolutely 100% not believe any feedback that's given to you. She's in sales. She should understand that there's exactly 1 metric that matters, closin

From what I recall, the tax credit is used for products that aren't yet available to the market. So let's say a company needs 5 years to build some new hardware. Those 5 years of labor and expenses are all R&D. I think that&#x

No one ever shows what these should and could actually be used for - incredibly boring and repetitive tasks. "Hey rabbit, respond to the support ticket you just told me about with XYZ". "Hey rabbit, find all of the sales meet

No one is making you use Knowbe4. As someone that founded a company in this space, the amount of people that hate SAT and Phishing sims purely based on their experience with certain companies is tremendous.

Training and simulations absolutely do reduce the likelihood of an event. Most companies don't use these tools correctly, and certainly the technical audience here on HN will despise them. But phishing simulations can reduce your risk.

What would be nice is some type of box or device I connect to a computer. I then give it full access to the system. It trains itself on all of the data on that computer. The device is now a portable LLM.

I wonder if phishing simulations are allowed. There's nothing explicit in the code of conduct (at least none that I could find with a quick search). Smishing sims are a great way to train staff on phishing, and disallowing them would b
