So, if you really are this price sensitive, here's a flip-side. I built a simple email verification service for A company I used to work for. Used API gateway, lambda, s3, and sqs. Few thousand users a month. I don't need to maint

Is add one thing to this great advice, schedule downtime for yourself and make sure you stick to it. Willpower/discipline is a finite resource, make sure you don't burn out. If you look at top athletes, none of them work at 100% a

I've tried going the docker environment path before but always hit a roadblock at the actual development stage. VSCode has no idea about your env because it's effectively non-local. So you lose auto-complete, linting etc. How well

I'm a similar age to you and I feel that around 40 people start to detach from their ego. How people view you becomes less important, and as a result you become more comfortable in yourself.

Honestly, get out now. Your story resonates strongly with me because it's basically my story word for word. Except I started as the only developer/operations guy and now I'm managing a small team. At first it was great becaus

This is the way to do it. How an applicant applies process to problem solving and communicates their ideas, is way more important than being able to regurgitate bubble-sort.
