SHA hardware acceleration is more likely to be used in SSH and some deduplication set ups, as well as git. It isn’t that much of a plus.

New reactors are expensive because of current regulations. Tolerances in various areas can be reduced for reactor designs that can gracefully shut down with a loss of power.

I believe it would be cheaper, and thus more likely to be adopted if tx only was implemented in software, such as a iptable rule. Hardware tx only would only make sense if you avoid side channels as well.

I recommend the book “Governance of Privacy” by Colin J. Bennett and Charles D. Raab. You should be able to get it through inter-library loan.

Disney owns a city in Florida (Reedy Creek Improvement District), Scientology owns a city in Florida (Clearwater)... I would assume that the best real estate speculation would be to buy land with higher margins.

If AMD advertised that their CPUs can be installed gingerly as opposed to Intel which felt like thirty pounds of pressure was required, then I would have opted for the older, but AMD chip. Had a false impression from all the PC part guides

How can you game exercise training in way that would degrade your health? Steroids and a diet high in sodium?

Is the socket really zero insertion force? I've always been planning on buying an AMD CPU after dealing with an Intel processor.

Only reason why hybrid kernels and Linux is popular is the stable driver API, otherwise recompilation is necessary (which was new to me when I discovered it). OpenBSD is suited for simple workstations or as a tablet substitute, but I don&#x

Personal preference to avoid these sorts of exploits is by using a virtual machine with a browser VM from Microsoft, although by default those browser VMs are run in admin mode.

There is no abstraction for anything unless you distribute it? What is the abstraction for AV1 decoding on CPUs that don't support it? Implementing it in a software library? The only problem with FPGAs is that they have even more inter

Those weren't from taxes, that money was lent from the central bank, to the central bank, to be further lent to Federal Reserve member banks, and some foreign banks as well.

If you can replace an animal's metabolism, immune system, and various regulatory systems with synthetic substitutes, people wouldn't be eating cultured meat. They would be cyborgs.

I can imagine humanity genetically engineering cows to be more space efficient, be unable to move, and to efficiently consume artificial diets made of algae. Hopefully we'll stick to chicken and eggs.

Nuclear waste produced per person is on the order of kilograms versus the volume and mass of carbon dioxide which is in the tonnes. As long as the volume of nuclear waste is easy to manage, it is more likely we will bury nuclear waste than

Compilers are algorithms to convert mathematical expressions to something that can run on a physical computer. Porting optimizations is easier than porting something from Blink to Quantum.

I think steam is unlikely to be used on common workstations and digital signage. Most machines running steam are run at home, and if you can afford a computer, you can play free games on Steam.

To put this in another way, Valve likely has spent millions developing the next Half Life game, and they will spent millions more. They are paying employee salaries, after all. I wouldn't be too surprised if Valve will have spent $50 m

Spectral density is a major factor. It is a shame that SMS and other low MTU packets aren't transmitted over a low bandwidth channel, or at least as a failover option. SMS coverage would be doubled in range, at least.

I am just arguing that Valve is more interested in making games than releasing them. I don't disagree with you, but the closest historical parallel is Howard Hughes' Hell's Angels.
