Ironically, the search has a little bug. There's no where to do a two word phrase search, so if i do 'fried chicken' or "fried chicken" I get chicken fried steak as the number one result. Seems like the refinements show that it also searc

I've always wondered if these really work. We all use these EULAs and TOS that essentially say "you can't sue us for anything no matter what!" but I have a feeling that kind of thing doesn't actually hold up in court.

I was speaking as a former government worker who loved his job. I'm not trying to put down government workers, it's just a fact that unless you are in something "flashy" like the FBI or CIA most people in the USA think you are not very amb

I've gone cable free for two years thanks largely in part to Netflix (and Xbox 360 for my ESPN3 stream). Cable was one thing that should have been getting cheaper over the years, but instead kept getting more expensive. Like Blockbuster b

Microsoft definitely has a lot of the "hey try this new thing" going on, but the key difference is I don't have to painfully upgrade all of my ASP.NET 2.0 applications when ASP.NET 3.0 or 3.5 comes out. Sure those support new features, but

I guess that's kind of what it is saying? An Ice Age would be about as bad for civilization as we know it as the ice caps melting (just in different ways), in a time of global cooling, I suppose increased CO2 would keep the Earth warmer th

It seems like a tough line, and I sympathize with both sides. Either you can go the Microsoft route and be backwards compatible til the end of time (which is great for devs, but causes baggage) or you can embrace change while the community
