Fair enough. I guess I'm just incredibly skeptical of your claims. Certainly I can get you've never used Windows as your primary OS, but that's quite a different claim from never having used it, which is the specific claim

Not talking about using it as a daily driver, just contrasting your claim that you have never used twitter with the people who claim to have never used windows over a 20 year period of working or hobbying in IT.

The problem with your point is your making an unwarranted assumption about most people. It's no different from insisting someone would like a variation of something they have no interest if they would only try it . Or to put it in sim

Nah. What's true for you isn't true for everyone. If I go on a date in a high end restaurant and hit it off with my date, I might want to show her something briefly or look up something, and we would both be on bored with it and h

You've only clicked them by accident? No that doesn't count as using, it's just hard to believe. It's like the people who have worked in IT for 20 years but 'never used Windows'.

Yeah, I get that completely, I'm the same way. I just think it's interesting. It's kind of the same argument as piracy, since most people wouldn't pay for what they download if it wasn't free.

That example you gave is a good reason why artists get pissed off IMO. The LLM is clearly aping some artists specific style, and now missing out on paid work as a result. Not sure I have an opinion on that, technology marches on etc, but it

How so? That film is a narrative mess with some good action scenes an not much more. If you want to reference a relevant sci-fi, I'd say Asimov's The Last Question is a better fit.

Not really, not if you secure your phone adequately, which these days is easier than ever. It's unlikely there will be state actors at this wedding or whatever ready to open up your phone and swap out a chip.
