I wasn't familiar with gn, thanks! Using :r for snippets is neat too, if crude. GP was clearly gatekeeping, but by asking sincerely I hoped to learn something new. And so I have! All the best.

Could you elaborate? Are you talking about :abbreviate and such? As a heavy vim user for years, I've found myself getting more value out of snippets as of late.

Though reading is more efficient, perhaps they just have more time to listen to audiobooks to the point it is more total information gathered. Multi-tasking for the win!

I should give that a shot. Are there any specific defaults you are referring to? Lack of vi bindings? That's what always stopped me before.

Web search says it's an abdominal breathing exercise where you are positioned on the ground on your hands and knees (similar to "cats and camels" for those familiar with that one).

I recently started learning Plover! Did you have any trouble using it for coding? It feels largely geared towards natural langauge and seems like there could be challenges using it for code. Though I haven't practiced enough to try yet

You make a good argument (in this comment). I think things are moving really fast and some jobs will be replaced. But even though AI moves extremely fast, the industry as a whole moves much slower. It will take years to integrate and levera

Yes, but how SOON will time tell? For earthen ball of cheese I predict it will tell "pretty soon". But who knows? Only time will tell.

I find that this comment adds absolutely nothing to the conversation. It could be posted under every comment that says <regex>"AI is (not)? going to revolutionize (the world|everything|this industry|my job)"</regex&g

A v2 controller would be AMAZING Since no-one else is listing the differences, here's what the v1 lacks in controls compared to the steam deck: - Two joysticks (probably the main shortcoming of v1) - D-pad - Four rear but

Yes please! Even just posting some of the scripts somewhere would be awesome. I'm always looking for better ways to handle email. Mblaze seems great, but I've never managed to quite tap into it's obvious power.

Any tips to running your own registry? e.g. what registry software/package do you use? I think when I looked into this in the past, I couldn't find anything suitable. A quick search now brings up https://hub.docker.com&

For me the killer feature was the way emails were (automatically) contextually organized. Instead of your inbox being chronological, it would create "bundles" of emails that were related based on sender, or subject line, or conten

There are several Prometheus helm charts out there. The one I use runs a sidecar container that watches for config changes and tells Prometheus to reload the config. So you don't need the operator - there are other approaches.

You don't NEED an operator, but there are benefits. If all of your pods have the same scrape settings, there's not much benefit to the operator. But if each pod or set of pods needs custom scrape settings - say different scrape in
