The title is a bit disingenuous. These are things that the iPhone can do, and have been possible on past revisions. These are things that iPhone won't do.

VoIP is voice. It's a realtime low latency point to point protocol. There are options to use intermediate servers, but there's a ton of room for information to leak.

So setup a gateway that redelivers SMS messages, preferably though some other protocol. The gateway of course sets up another possiblity for exploitation.

Pretty sure the problem would be far worse with VoIP. You're now getting several packets per second to measure.

You linked to an actual imaging technique called super-resolution imaging which is for imaging . It's a technique applied to the capture of an image, and cannot be applied to an already captured image. Machine learning super resolutio

So you'd like to make communities more free by regulating them more?

It's important, but so is community building. Most communities function best when there's some degree of moderation. For example, people would prefer that the speech in their bird watching community is limited and trolls are kept

It doesn't appear that there is a clear zoonotic origin for SARS-CoV-1 and MERS either. The case is circumstantial in a similar way to SARS-CoV-2. Yes there are several animal reservoirs that carry similar viruses, but there wasn'

The discussion isn't whether labs need to be secure, or if a lab leak is bad. The discussion is whether it not it's likely that SARS-CoV-19 was a lab leak.

Why is it the expectation that the specific strain would be noted in the wild before the start of a pandemic? Is there precedent for such a thing?

▲

Your argument here is circular. There are other viruses from the same family that nearly caused a global pandemic.

Why is the gain of function thing always thrown in? This makes the case much harder to prove and seems entirely unnecessary. The family of viruses is already very contagious and potentially dangerous with covid19 hardly being the worst comb

23M pixels across the field of vision of two eyes doesn't meet the requirements of a design studio. A retina display is minimum 60 pixels per degree. This will be around 30.

California has a housing crisis and there is no political will to fix it. Not wanting low cost housing in your neighborhood is something that unites people very strongly across the political spectrum. https://en.wikipedia.org

Yes, it can be eradicated, but it's very contagious and stays airborne for a long time. You'd need very high rates of vaccination across all of humanity. Probably the reason this approach is being tried.

Because it's immediately obvious that for anything with a finite number of states determining if it runs forever is "trivial" as running it until it either repeats a state or halts which will always occur in finite time.
