More importantly to me is the question if he committed all the stages to git. Without that you and the AI easily get lost.

It doesn't beat a hashtable, but has faster sequential (=ordered) reads, and can do range iterators. The examples to not reflect that. All random accesses are slower.

All the articles at https://milk.com/wall-o-shame/ are a goldmine. I prefer the one of a student called ''Missile'' Seitz buying a missile for nothing, and then didn't have to pay income taxes

Not really. In Graz we had our better Hyper-G graphical browser before CERN, with a completely integrated system to ensure link consistency. Every browser was also the editor. In 1989. https://arxiv.org/pdf/2105.08057

Of course he got a response by a lawyer. He shouldn't have hacked the whole site, that's highly illegal, and usually the police is coming knocking, not just a lawyer. Such a morally bankrupt weirdo

Why was Varnish renamed to Vinyl again? Just because a company took their name? Looks like they are still maintaining the varnish packages for Debian and redhat. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=45251271 is not really

The director of the FSF is not a credible source? All the harassed and exploited third-world women are not credible? Certainly more credible than this guy.

Removing unused inlined functions or false constexpr's is trivial to see. We already have -Winline. We care about removed branches, exprs and stmts due to some optimizer logic. I'm talking about the optimizer, not the linker, whic

This was 2015, and we still have no -Wdeadcode, warning of removal of "dead code", ie what compilers think of dead code. If a program writer writes code, it is never dead. It is written. It had purpose. If the compiler thinks t

Calling strict alignment requirements "beloved" is a wide stretch. You had to split loops into Sparc and Ubsan, vs normal variants.

There cannot be any num32. num is a number, which can be fixed size integers, floating point numbers (of fixed size or not) or bigints. Some also add decimals num32 being i32 or f32 makes no sense
