This is not what "serverless" means nowadays. What "serverless" means, in the context of the article (and basically how anyone uses it today), is "AWS Lambda" (or FaaS). The name is kinda stupid, since it still

Even go authors themselves know the current error handling is not ideal, that's why they want to change it in go 2... see https://go.googlesource.com/proposal/+/master/design/go2draf...

If you saw the state of hidden web, you would agree. There are very few hidden services and most of them are... questionable. The article cites child porn. That's about right.

Characterising Afghanistan pre-invasion as "stable" is bold. They had civil war through the whole 90s and were ruled by either warlords or Talebs. US invasion didn't help, but it wasn't stable in any sense of the word be

Rust and Go are very different languages for very different use-cases and with very different goals at every level of design. Rust is a C replacement, Go is a replacement for everything else ;)

It is cheaper than taxis on average. There are local companies that are a bit cheaper, as others have already said.

Taxi mafia is the only thing I don't agree with. Uber shaked that up pretty well.

From my point of view: most building and development were stopped or stuck, so prices of flats skyrocketed and infrastructure was not maintained. Part of reason was overreaction to the mayor who built the tunnel - the construction was overp

I know this is a little unrelated, but Apple makes me agree to giant EULAs and "terms of use" every time they update their damned iTunes store. I wish that would go away and the Apple EULAs and agreements would get shorter instead

There is an example PHP code in the same repo and people copy-pasted that into production. The issue is not in the front-end jQuery library, despite the title.

I am Czech and I half-switched from Fio to Revolut and it is a night and a day. (I keep some funds in Fio for payments to tax office, but that's it.) Fio mobile app is terrible and it feels like it's from 2012.
