You're absolutely right. When I first looked at iTerm2 a few years ago, I could swear this wasn't supported to the extent it is today (horizontal and vertical splits). Apologies for the misleading comment.

I really, really wish something even remotely similar to terminator ( http://www.tenshu.net/terminator/ ) existed on OS X. Yet another reason I find Linux a much more productive dev platform..

It would've been the better option for the rest of us though...I'd feel much more comfortable (even excited) with Google at Java's helm...

As a paying customer of Google Apps, I have an incredibly difficult time getting decent customer support for the paid services, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Also, in the past I have submitted tickets for other free service like Analytics a

Really? Does this howto ( http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Compile_Cyanogen... ) not get CM7 running on the Vibrant?

Has anything of significance actually been developed on Node yet? Seems like there is a lot of excitement about it (like the early Rails days), but I haven't seen any sites announcing they're written in it.

I actually find Touchwiz to be a few steps above the default Android experience. The colors are nice...the icons are beautiful. My vanilla Droid 2 running Froyo looks dull comparison.

Just bought a Vibrant last week. After all the reported issues...I'm on the fence on whether to return it. It's a beautiful phone and seems faster than my Droid 2...even running Eclair. Still, the GPS is weak to non-existent at times, and

Liked it...used it...modified it. Wasn't bad. The code was a bit convoluted in places and almost completely undocumented, and they strayed from the typical Django style. All added up, it was negative productivity for this long-term Rails pr

I've always wondered why shells based on popular scripting languages don't catch on more...especially after living with Bash's horrible (my opinion) syntax over the years, and Korn before that. I know there have been a few shells created ba

Yeah, and it made starting up any X-based application on OS X a real pain. X apps are second-class citizens. This is one (of many) reasons I could never quite reach a level of comfort on a Mac.
