I leave my iPhone in my pocket with a headphone jack for hours at a time while walking/running/etc., and am ridiculously clumsy - I get the cable caught on doorknobs, go to sleep with earbuds on and have the headphone cable tugged out at od

This seems like a poorly reasoned article to me. I don't think anybody argues the point that AT&T has the fastest 3G network. You can have the fastest network. It can have slightly more signal bars. It can also be the one that drops cal

Indeed. I'm really impressed and intrigued, but I'm a bit wary about doing much of anything serious since I don't know what the terms are, what licensing might be like, etc. Even though it says in the EULA I retain rights of code/assets/etc

The AspireRevo nettop I picked up for $200 has an Atom 230 and a NVidia Ion chipset in it, and has zero problems playing back 1080p video in XBMC for Linux... Honestly, I'd be more surprised if it didn't playback 1080p. EDIT: I will say b

Your home adapter probably uses the old FireWire power pins, which the iPhone 3G can no longer charge from. There is also a handshake, but that's separate and (as of the 3GS) only displays a "product not designed for iPhone" warning - even

iPhone 3.0 devices can cache minified jQuery just fine - I've done some testing with an HTML5 offline app and they appear to have greatly increased the limits. The jQtouch guys have been experimenting with this as well and have reported suc

There's an interesting point made, but I'm not sure that I really like the direction Leah went in. To me, the fields stand out far more than the radio buttons, I stop reading the header after "Log in..." (what more do I need to know, it's a
