So long, Euro? No. Seriously? Meanwhile, in reality, it was about time for the euro to come down against the dollar. Macroeconomically too, of course, but on a personal level a ~10% effective gross wage increase (or reversal of decrease to

Agreed. It is, however, quite possible for a rating agency to influence the value of various things inadvertently or on purpose.

Old as the article may be, if anyone is interested: http://sup.rubyforge.org is a gmail-inspired command-line mail client. Threading, tagging, full-text search, hooks etc.

If instead you ask people who actually know what the hell they are talking about , q.f. people who were brought up by gay parents, you will find the vast majority to be quite happy about it.

Merging and rebasing both have their benefits and use cases. Just do not fall for the "squash everything into one commit and rebase" BS recently afflicting otherwise rational people.

For clarity's sake I would probably refrain from calling it "pure" as long as the -webkit- is necessary.

I have to say that I have not seen much evidence of people not being aware of what is going on in general terms, or challenging the groundings. Upset, sure, but (for once) pretty much upset at the right target: ms. Nature.

Sort of tangentially to this (fairly good) article, I have noticed a number of people recently somehow conflating all fructose with high-fructose corn syrup and other refined variants. I am not sure if this is just symptomatic of ignorance

Or perhaps you are changing the meaning of "programming" to your own taste? I could just as well state that "programming" is the act of entering a program in some entity that will later execute it.

My bank(ing system) has not used cheques day-to-day for about 30 years now. The U.S. banking system is still literally and figuratively in the 80's. So, no, I do not think you can talk about a "killer app" quite yet. USAA is the Mac OS 1.0

Unfortunate choice of words in the headline, perhaps a failed pun. Or maybe it was just me. Either way, it has nothing to do with lesions: the drug seems to deter or prevent the HIV -> AIDS transition.
