"I don't feel good" != "I feel bad" Addictive social networks are awful specifically because they're engineered to give you dopamine. If a website lets you check in and out without becoming addictive then… good

Last time I googled this I found it was quite expensive, basically cruise-level per-night prices, at least in my area. Perhaps if you contact the shipping companies directly you can arrange something cheaper.

I get it, I do watch that kind of in-depth content, but sometimes you just want the raw stuff without looking at stock footage websites. I kinda like TikTok because you can often find short, no-nonsense videos like this, that you can’t find

I agree with the “straight from ICANN” part. Having a private entity maintain your address is not unlike yourname.someoneelse.com, you’re at their whim.

One thing that concerned me is that CF kicked a few "bad actors" off their network One could argue that they have the right and/or duty to do that, but being closer and closer to a "internet backbone" provider, this

They wrote that. I read “We’re about to close shop because we couldn’t figure this out.” Parallel’s icon literally has a Windows logo in it.

Ad fraud = ban from everything a huge company offers? Seems a tad much when the company literally reaches into your pocket by owning your smartphone and/or livelihood. Bans should be limited in time and scale. This really must be regul

Let’s not confuse the 2 parts that Apple is implementing; - one is parental control, it’s upon request, uses ML, it’s “local” (that is, it’s sent to the parent) - the other one is plain hash matching, which does not “save the children” but

From what I remember iCloud is only encrypted at rest but not E2E. Apple can decrypt it anytime. The password manager (Keychain) is the only fully encrypted part of iCloud; If you lose your devices or forget the main password, the manager w
