What you describe is actually hard, especially for upstarts. Legacy carriers and claim processing platforms are in good positions to deliver on AI claims given they have the image and settlement data. There are a few companies already doing

Though I love the ensuing discussion, I’ll admit it was mostly a sarcastic comment. I can’t imagine anyone would read the whole article and draw the conclusion their click-baity title suggests.

This is awesome, I’m a little too chicken to put my money down though. It’d be fun just to see the random options or maybe other people’s previous randomness.

Same. I’ve seen Sandi speak and had a beer with her at Goruco like 10 years ago. Great speaker to be sure. I’ve never encountered anyone as passionate as @pka suggests. Perhaps POODR is popular where they work but it’s far from universal am

Great perspective. Without question there are definitely risks that anonymity introduces. But there is an effective tyranny of free expression when parties are forced to use their names. The protections of liberty afforded on paper don’t al

I think having online anonymity and a reasonable ability to create pseudonyms to keep your communities separate is important and often overlooked. I think it’s not OK for one community to be the moral authority over aspects of ones life, mo

I recently got pretty sick and ended up in the hospital. I met some people who were pretty bad off. I met a guy with one lung and lung cancer - he realistically has a very short life ahead of him. He’s not traveling or checking off his buck

Surprised this is the only mention of Lucky. Seems to have a lot of promise. I wrote off Crystal some time ago but Lucky has my interest piqued and I’ve been building a few things with Lucky recently.

Almost every big company that has a call center is looking to optimize their hourly employees. In most cases they are the largest staffs and are highly sensitive to census tolerances. It’s definitely not just Comcast.

Wow I forgot about those. Templating in general sucks, it’s just so hard to create something that makes a program accessible and has safety for user generated content.

Totally agree with the sentiment. I see engineers put to much time and energy focusing on frameworks and architecture and not enough time on building business value. The joy of Rails is that for the most part you can just focus on getting s
