They used to? I have a distinct memory of it doing exactly that a few months ago. Maybe it got dropped in the mad dash that passes for CC sprint cycles

Pretty good article until the bizarre post-script where they fall back on the tired "people derive meaning from their work" for why UBI is bad.

Enjoyed this piece! I use binary search to investigate data pipeline issues. Didn’t think to use it to debug features with agents which was a very cool approach.

Can you believe there are people out there who haven't read this yet? I can, because one of them was me. This was incredible. > A systems programmer will know what to do when society breaks down, because the systems programmer alrea

How much of an ECE background do you have? I've also thought about dabbling in LLM-assisted PCB stuff but felt like I was lacking too much of a foundation to get started (no ECE background at all)

I'm in the same loop where I find the more access I give it to systems and feedback mechanisms the more powerful it is. There's a lot of leverage in building those feedback systems. With the obvious caveat about footguns :P Gave o

Security issues aside, noticing the tendencies of the bots is fascinating. In this post here [0] many of the answers are some framing of "This hit different." Many others lead with some sort of quote. You can see a bit of the user

Interesting, I’ve experienced the opposite in certain contexts. CC is so hastily shipped that new versions often imbalance existing workflows. E.g. people were raving about the new user prompt tools that CC used to get more context but they

Hmm, are you using the /usage command? There’s also the ccusage package that I find useful.

The best thing about the max plan has been that I don’t have “range anxiety” with my workflows. This opens me to trying random things on a whim and explore the outer limits of the LLM capabilities more.

They’re great when the trails aren’t too technical. No so much when they are (as I’ve learned from personal experience )

Currently I'm using docker-ized git worktrees so I can dangerously skip permissions. It's not great. Worktrees are not the way to go and Claude Code treats docker as a second-class citizen (e.g., going through the MacOS auth flow

Honestly, this doesn't sound that bad! Sounds like you got more than enough signal to bail before investing any more in the process :P

Hey, cool concept! The demo video is a bit unclear; most of it is you clicking around and the actually "growth" is a bit underwhelming. Seems like there were only 3-4 transitions per scene. But again, hard to tell from the demo

I fell out of the funnel during the demo. Not sure if there was a browser issue but the video had no sound and watching spreadsheet navigation with no context left me completely lost as to what was happening.

I find if a project is made with agentic coding in mind, you can try to implement features as they come to mind and bounce between different CC terminals. The problem is that this is true of none of my work projects and the onboarding cliff
