The first step is talking to potential clients. It helps if you have something to show, but it's not necessary—you only need to grok the problem, and then keep an open mind, as there might be some things you haven't already though

Hey Jeff, We have not considered it, since our main market is Mexico, because of how taxes and invoices work here. Also, we don't issue invoices—we just receive them. But sure, we'll look into your suggestion!

Hey, Emilio! Sure, I'll send you an email, however, I'd like to keep the answer to your question on the public side, if you don't mind. It has been quite a ride to get traction, mostly the first clients signed up after talkin

I've worked over a year on https://www.boxfactura.com/ which is a special email service for invoices in Mexico. It has been profitable since January after quite some legwork, on the technical side as well as the sales

I'm gonna echo on Winamp. Now a Linux user, I really miss a real good mp3 player. Winamp was light, aesthetic and very good on its design. One feature I still miss is the global hotkeys, you could map Ctrl+Shift+Z to go back one song,

I still use it on Ubuntu, with Wine. It runs almost flawlessly and it's so much better than all the image editing tools out there (most are crap, Gimp is too bloated).

Honestly, I don't think an edit option would be a great idea. I'd recommend you to read this article[1], it's food for thought about the topic. 1: https://css-tricks.com/features-complicated/

I agree, but am I the only one that has really big issues with SVG? Theoretically, you can embed a SVG with an <img>, <embed> or <object>, but each one of these has its own exceptions. Sometimes a 100x100 image takes more

It rendered the phishing HTML, but you can't interact with it. I guess it's because the script is stopping the render of facebook after the request has been made (hence the www.facebook.com site), providing another security layer,

It is said that the taxi's license plates cost up to $1 million pesos (about ~$65,000 USD) here in Mexico. What I didn't know was that that's the resale value, the price at which the government sells them is actually $1,000 U

Too bad this comment is too down, but The Art Of Game Design is a fantastic book about design and user experience, even if you're not into games, there's some interesting psychology to learn and to apply in whatever you're doing.
