Do you currently? Because I think there are already (12.04) some links to Amazon Instant videos in Unity by default.

Building something on top of Twitter is rather different than building a Twitter display client.

But offline is kind of what Google is pushing against with Chrome OS, so seems that would be contrary to their goals.

Pretty sure Notifo is just Chad and Paul, but given Paul's popularity this really isn't that odd. Probably just the result of an innocent, "Hey dude upvote my HN submission will ya" text or two.

Out of curiosity, does anyone seriously know who these "analysts" are and what their job actually entails?

Yes they can. Companies do it all the time with employee stock purchasing programs, for instance, where you have to hold on for at least a year before flipping it.

Soap I can kind of understand, but I definitely can't see how no shampoo would work for me. If you ever put any kind of product in your hair that seems out of the question.

Congrats, glad to hear you had success. I'm curious as to why you started with C#. Most people these days are steered the way of Python or Ruby it seems. Care you elaborate on your goals?

Well, that is most unfortunate. A big thanks for the heads up.

Elsewhere geographically, sure. But you'll still be stuck with a contract early termination fee.

Be serious. The amount of people that use the iPad in meetings in negligible compared to the amount that use it laying in their bed every evening, where the orientation switch was very useful.

I agree completely. It doesn't seem wise, legally, to store one's business backups at home. Whether my thoughts are warranted or not I have no idea, but I'd just pay the small S3 fee and be on with it.

I agree. I thought the Loren Brichter lecture was quite good when I saw it a year or two ago. He doesn't do many interviews or blog posts as far as I know, so it was interesting to see the man behind Tweetie speak on various development is

Just a light or dark text-shadow of a pixel. A Google of "CSS embossed text" for details should work.

There has been a really cool growth in these types of posts lately. As somewhat of a beginner in some of the areas required to become a great startup, it's nice to know someone potentially has your back and is willing to lend a hand.

I enjoy it and I graduated less than a year ago, though I am an EE, not CS grad. Perhaps look at the CE/EE crowd a bit more in depth. Where I went to school (large Big-10 engineering program), we were required at least one C course, with mo

This is not an appropriate Ask HN. This is a misplaced Craigslist posting. If there is no discussion to be had, this probably isn't the appropriate avenue (save the YC company job postings, but note those have comments disabled).

I always noticed massive slowdowns loading all their JS rubbish when I load their page, but I agree; I've never seen their site down that I recall.

I wish his "HTML 5 from early 2008" site would support zooming on my iPad, pretty obnoxious it doesn't.

I'm sorry, but for $200k+ funding you need to do more to impress me than throwing a bunch of gems together and putting it on MongoDB. I like the minimalist design, though.

It really is odd. Also gone are the colored icons, replaced by grey/slate with blue highlights. It's not the blue that's currently used as the default OSX highlighted row color, either. Makes me think that the Aqua theme will seem some chan

So I'm grandfathered in. What happens when I upgrade to the next iPhone? 2GB is a damn joke. I hate that tethering is a hardware capability that I rent from them - not willing to do that.

I wouldn't mind a post explaining your lifestyle. I don't see how that's possible. Not saying it isn't true, I'm just curious.

It's how much you earned. It would be the gross, so the cash you pumped back into a business wouldn't matter for this answer.

This is incredible. I've been hoping for over a year that this would occur. Why would Google not pick this guy up... clearly he knows his way around Linux and Android.

Pretty simple why it's illegal. They made up fake people, contact info, and email addresses that weren't tied to real people. The terms of the site don't allow that and when you are buying tens of thousands of tickets, people tend to notice
