Something that’s not talked about in elevator design ever is having the option to cancel or undo your action. What if you press the wrong floor by mistake? You should be able to undo it by pressing it again.

This applies to any other long term study of whether X affects Y in human. Now replace X with coffee, wine, fruits, medicine... and replace Y with IQ, cancer risk, mental health, ....
