But with abstractions you can have many more functions not handling the error before you get to the actual context. Is it worth it to thread the IOException through the network layer, then the HTTP-client library, then then business seriali

Constant folding of floats may depend on the compiler of compiler (e.g. 0.5 + x + 0.6 + 0.7), the compiler may be non-deterministic (std::unordered_map<float> constants), and it may depend on the CPU your compiler is running on.

Note this is for the years 1993-2010 only. But don't extrapolate 25% of the time to 16% of the sea level rise since the 1950's is caused by pumping unless you write a sourced paper.

So we want to calculate the change in momentum caused by moving water from just under the surface to the surface. Assume earth is a perfect sphere, let m be the mass of earth and r be the radius of earth. Let rdm be the relative mass of the

The calving process results in ice already floating in water moving. Archimedes' law means the effect is very limited ~ the height the ice sticks above the surface and the little change in density. More importantly, the article mention

Paying the wage of the new offer leads to bad incentives w.r.t. nepotism. It also discourages starting your own small business where you tend to pay yourself a small wage.

You still lose as you won't get raises, bonuses or promotions. You may lose extra-legals like company cars, insurance (?), long term savings-matching. Even then your cost of living will probably increase due to not working.

They don't need one number, they need two (or more) that are related in such a way they have cryptographic properties. And the math says to derive them from a seed. However the seed must be secret because it's a back-door. Luckily

I think the cause and effect was switched. 12V was used because of 12.6V is two batteries, LDO's are used nowadays because 6V, 12V was standard.

Linking devices is one of the standard permissions normally. So if you give permission in one window and don't say anything in another, it probably counts as permission for both.

This includes the permission to link your behavior across "devices"? Iirc, it is quite trivial to link one Private-mode session to another.
