Gosh. OP made me sad with his thesis. "1. For owners, work is optional." ... As an owner I wish this were true. For me and most owners I know work is mandatory, and its 60 hour weeks and a lot of sleepless nights. There is no safe

Zapier is terrific. We use it to power internal dashboards, for automated distribution of company data and several other tasks. Great product.

1) Why should I spend the money. 2) The government doesn't have enough money to resource it. 3) Lower profits (money) = less innovation. Its ALL about money, and not inappropriately so.

Nope. Social welfare is crushing the balance sheets of most of the countries you have in-mind. There is no way to escape demographic reality. http://www.debtclocks.eu/public-debt-and-budget-deficits-com...

Article is a hyperbole filled rant light on facts and heavy on rhetoric. Doesn't belong on HN. That said, healthcare is a demographic and economic issue - period. If there's enough money to cover all American's healthcare

The proposed framework is self-serving, flawed and behind the state of art. I say this as someone who really loves Google's products and uses them heavily. To summarize US citizens, as a right, have and must continue to have their due

I'm not seeing any experiment. China was to take HK regardless and do as it pleased. The Falklands option was no option. A Tibet-style occupation would have been disastrous. Its orderly handover was in everyone's best interests if

This is almost ground-breaking. Can you imagine the power of this thing coupled with AI widgets? With Zapier-esque connections to APIs. Great UI and concept. Can't wait to use this if I can find time.

Agreed. Stop, assess and arrest is now audit-able thanks to body cameras and we're already seeing the results in greater accountability. However, with greater visual accountability has come de-policing, a serious problem in some cities

Except OPs article laments the loss of jobs, not output. And, its not clear from your reference if the increase in output should be attributed to larger dollar goods (eg. Rolls Royce engines), or more smaller dollar goods. Likely the former

IMHO: You want to pivot this product, now, to compete with ourfamilywizard.com. OFW is a great concept but the site runs slow, its search and reporting is erratic and basic, and the UI can be difficult. It is, however, the only game in town
