Well, actually big dogs do quite well walking through a house. They're quite popular. They just need to make BigDog a little smaller, and I think the four-legs approach would work quite well.

I totally agree with this. It's one of my pet peeves... dynamically generating method names so you can't actually search for them. Personally, I think code readability is one of the greatest goods in programming, and in general I

Maybe I don't spend enough time in the forums, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone say anything bad about windows phone, other than the lack of apps, which really isn't the fault of the OS. I've seen pretty univ

If they can really wrangle all of the other sources to come through and be controllable by the xbox, that would be very cool. Maybe my parents will be able to work our tv without us having to write detailed instructions.

Would be nice to have a messaging system or at least a way to prompt the other person. Never know when they've stepped away.

$150/mo for insurance for a family is super low unless your company has really good benefits. If you're working at a startup, you're more likely to be putting in $800/mo on top of the employer's contribution.

Right, that jumped out at me right away, and I wasn't sure if this was a parody or not. Seems like an unnecessary inside joke for something ultimately for kids.

This article should really be titled "What No One Told You About Opacity". I think all the z-index stuff is pretty well-understood. At least by people who consider themselves pretty good at css.

If he dumped his shares based (even partially) on the decision to drop google maps, wouldn't that be insider trading? I don't really understand how top executives are able to trade in their own stock.

In my experience, styles that are applied directly to elements cause more problems than they solve. Outside of a minimal reset, and a few general elements like h1, h2, etc., I try to avoid applying styles to base elements. I have yet to see

If that's the market you're addressing, I would suggest you be more clear about that. "Creative professionals" is not a specific-enough descriptive term. I would suggest making that clear with a list, and then linking each term (photographe

Agree... this is not a how-to-guide on growth hacking. It's just link-bait. Great title though... I wish somebody would write it.

I got this too. It's reproduceable for me if I click on any of the nodes before the page is ready for it, and once this happens I can't use it at all. But if I wait a second or two before doing this it works fine. Using latest chrome.

While that's cool, it's not quite what the OP achieves. Using this mixin will turn whatever you apply it to into a solid-color triangle with the passed-in options. The triangle will need to be its own element. OP adds two triangles to wha

I think it's more semantic than a non-content div or image that has no real semantic content, which is what my solution (and most I've seen) amounted to. I suppose ideally some property on the dialog container like 'data-refersto="#indicate

Losing trust in someone and punishing them are two different things. It's fair to say you don't immediately trust someone who has shown bad behavior over a long period of time just because their recent behavior seems improved. Trust happens

Big generalization here, but if you only need one specialized dev and have nobody on board who can judge them, then you probably don't need the best dev possible anyway. I'm imagining a non-tech company that just wants a functional website.
