There's a Rubygem for Harvest that provides a nice CLI interface for harvest. gem install hcl I haven't used it in a few years, so I don't know how well it works in Ruby 1.9.x / Ruby 2.0, but it was pretty nice.

Fascinating. What's annoying about computer/video based sign instructions is the lack of feedback. "Did I get this sign right or do I just think I have it right?" If MotionSavvy can notify me when I get it wrong, very

Ok, this is awesome. A neat GUI interface over generating both Vagrantfiles and Puppet manifests by hand?! So nice. Slick UI + the fact that it generates this standard DevOps setup (Vagrant + Puppet) instead of trying to reinvent that p

I suggest you alter your assumptions of how many hours you can get in a day. If your monthly budget depends on you billing 8 hours a day, 20 days a month you are setting yourself up to be disappointed. I know that, by in large, I can bill a

BBEdit +1 from me too. I abandoned BBEdit for Textmate around 2006 I think. I went back to BBEdit when Textmate looked like it was a dead-end (2011 ish?). Three things that drew me (back) to BBEdit: 1. Most of the features from TextMate

It could also mean that there's so much work that all a freelancer has to do for business development these days is tweet and get tons of work.

Absolutely true: it's the basis for a hypothesis more than anything. "Are there more availability tweets on Twitter in the last month than previous months?" However, if OP wants another data source to show what the Indeed graph is showing,

I would agree: when the employee gets to the point where, "It's about the money" I would guess that it's probably not. In addition to not finding fulfillment (edw519's list of motivating factors), I'd say there's a list of demotivating fac

I also thought that line was unfair. Sure, one can go and get a 4 year degree to run your machines, at their own personal cost of $100,000 to $150,000. It's not just about "fair wage" at that point - enough to have a place to live, a car, f
