I was actually implying that the submission was not upvoted solely because of its content. Because, let's be frank, the content is not worth to be the top submission on HN when compared to what one can usually find there. Even the &quo

I wasn't complaining about the submission itself, but rather the fact that it was the top post at the moment.

Why is this at the top of HN now? Do you find this idea to be that revolutionary? (I guess not as someone linked other similar project (and you downvoted him)) Do you find this project in particular to be that interesting? (Doubt it with th

If only there were a viable technical solution. I don't want subscription(s), but I'd gladly pay ~5c to read an article. I just can't. In theory I could on mobile I guess, but then it's 30% to someone who does nothing, a

I already posted about their superb ad format[1], but it happens to be an ad that is shown to premium users as well. Is it Spotify's negligence, intended malice or they just don't have control over the ads they show? 1. https:&#x

They could, but that would lead to players that actually paid complaining (to tinybuild, not reseller). Ubisoft did it, I don't remember it playing out very well for them. But I guess that's the only way to stop G2A and the likes

Aren't the files matched by checksums though? I.e. you have a checksum and that's how tracker knows what you want?

I haven't been following releases for a while, it's nice to see that submodules can now (2.8) be actually used. Just curious, were there any changes to sparse-checkout? It had abysmal performance in pre-2.x if you threw more elabo
