Do people nowadays really don't care? Or are completely oblivious to the fact that images can be huge? 2MB is still a lot of data even today. I could see it loading (on 100Mbit no less).

Because Google has a great track record of caring about Android developers? They are basically monopoly (in western markets at least), they don't need to do anything to turn profit. They are happy to collect their 30% while spending al

Yeah, the second case. The problem is that new instance has to start, making it slower to open files than say Visual Studio. I guess that's what I have to take from it - it's a bad file editor and since I edit files I shouldn'

No, I see what you mean and I guess I agree. But learning how to invoke a feature or installing it should be equal I think.

So I would have to use two different editors, customize both, get used to both? That doesn't make sense to me (to be fair, mostly because I rarely have the need for IDE). But if I had, why use a lightweight IDE instead of a "full&

Does it really cost that much? It's actually cheaper here, so my previous comment about global pricing was not entirely true. But I still find it too expensive, for my use cases that is. I used it because it was free(mium), I wouldn&#x

It was an ad by/for Universal Music and their Spotify playlist. I was once told here at HN that these ads are not actually paid but are part of a licensing deal.

Maybe it's targeted. Increase level of unusability for long-time users because there's a better chance they will switch. And it's still better for Spotify if those users leave as Spotify can't sell ads for shit - haven&#

Even lower models will still have better price/performance ratios. Top-ends are heavily overpriced, because they can be (for a while at least).

Me neither anymore, but I was concerned with week's "parity" in school. I.e. whether the week was even or odd.

I think we have enough time to care about fallback location for human civilization. What I would be interested in is, could Moon be used to build radio telescope array? Shielded from Earth's noise. More importantly, would the benefits

Somewhat unrelated, I've been trying VS Code this week as people here kept suggesting it. For my most common use case (quick edits) it's horrendously slow and unusable. So while I'd love to like Vivaldi, I still don't se
