I explained that down in this thread somewhere. Most importantly, the capitalization has absolutely no benefit and way too many drawbacks. Not a single reply in this thread addressed the issue at point. People are just defensive, because th

Yes, there's a name (Kitty Hawk) comprised of common words (Kitty, Hawk). If you don't know the name, you can't pick it out because every word is capitalized. It's stupid design.

There's context missing. But I don't think anyone would imagine an interactive application (say, a game) when the topic is some data manipulation.

That's what I saw. The unnecessary capitalization is what I'm talking about. To be fair, this is far from the worst case. There are titles where it doesn't make a difference, some are so-so, and some are really bad. But I

Slightly offtopic, but once again, the "American/English" style of title makes it almost incomprehensible. How is it in any way better than this? > Why is Kitty Hawk's flying taxi taking off in New Zealand instead of

It's not only that the money is sketchy, you'll most likely won't know who you are selling to and how it will be used. Conscience might bite you in the ass.

Right. The service is certainly expected to do more. Was mostly addressing the issue of mirroring the data to dropbox. But even then my "solution" only saves whatever you do locally. So if you merge PRs through github, it wouldn&#

I think it's even worse than "supporting" it, it was breaking their UX if certain users didn't have certain features (namely threads). Disclaimer: I hate threads in slack

Animated emojis can eat 100% CPU on my MacBook Pro if someone spams enough of them. It's insane how demanding and bloated the app is for what it does.

Family plan is a bad name probably. It explicitly says it's for people living together, they don't have to be family at all. It's silly to take this as an issue.

Don't they know the country where the card was issued? I.e. Spotify could refuse payment using non-LA card? Or, ideally, just bump it to the higher bracket (with appropriate notice).

World doesn't work like that. You are not paid by the value you create, but by supply/demand for the position. The economics of the product only dictate whether something will be done or not. And your second statement is not true.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when talking US salaries you have to compare it to EU salary before any taxes, deductions, or insurance.

I think it's 2. I don't see why senior dev salaries should go any higher. At that point it would be easier to open office overseas even for smaller shops.
