Unless you are doing some (possibly unsafe) magic the interfaces are strongly typed, external dependencies are locked, so one cannot really break an interface without meaning to. Or I guess without realizing it immediately.

I don't think that's the case here? No evaluation, just a response to the parent comment saying "you are wrong, here's why".

She looked for foldable coat hangers, not for a space saving solutions. I guess that's fair if that's what she wanted to achieve, but it would be nice to hear why this is a better solution. Looks nicer is a good enough answer of c

Twist the hook 45 degrees. Save square root of whatever the coat hanger width is. There's some wasted space in corners though.

It's common for them to be stacked like stairs or if there's more space to slide out, so that's not usually an issue. Sometimes it's kinda both (stairs that pop up).

It's fast enough for most applications. Python and Typescript are unmaintanable. Everything around them breaks as the time goes by. I'd argue Python is not suitable for anything that spans more than one file or one week. I don

Is 1/3 (1/6) such an important concept? 1/2 (1/4) is natural in metric. I would think a bigger benefit is that you can drop up and down without any math depending on the precision you need. Or use decimals, no math invol
