Actually paper books are an inferior product for many reasons: 1) moderately large to large books are uncomfortable to hold after a while. 2) Fixed font size. 3) Take up physical space (i.e. you can have books and other kind of "public

I can't stand 24, the script is so transparently cheap. It's just one little plot device looped over and over and over each episode. I couldn't stomach more than two seasons.

Animated favicons are a huge distraction and suck. From the looks of it this project aims to make the favicon display useful information like notification counts instead of animated loops.

On Linux I use the 'Negative' Compiz plugin. You can apply it on a window by window basis or desktop-wide. For both modes there are keyboard shortcuts (that's what makes it such a killer feature IMO). People find the screen w

Exactly. What people need to understand here is that pg isn't an actual prophet. He is insightful in many ways sure, particularly about entrepreneurship and SV culture but that's about it.

Actually, Google offers a way bigger refund window. 2 hours is just the "no hassle" refund that the user can ask for by just tapping the 'refund' button in the app page. After this s/he can always (in theory) email

My android TV box might not be Apple "polished" but it is very good and way more powerful than the iTV and works for everything I want it for (mostly Kodi and youtube) and for a fraction of the price.

Another NoScript user here and the web is better because of this addon. It's amazing the quantity of websites that auto-play their videos, just by blocking those scripts alone NoScript has helped my blood pressure immensely.
