People have been saying that for decades. After spending 10 years in the 3D graphics and VR industries, I just don't see it happening any time soon. The technology, including Oculus, is certainly getting better but it still sucks. It s

Many early employees end up with nothing even if they are given significant equity and they aren't screwed by VC or founders. Employees have 90 days to exercise their options when they quit and often it is better to not exercise becaus

That is precisely why I chose PageRank as a comparison. I think it is one of the most beautiful equations invented in computer science on par with some physics equations. Yes, if you can turn your problem into a graph then you can use PageR

I think blockchain will end up like PageRank. Both are amazing algorithms with very narrow use cases. And maybe a few companies can generate enormous value with blockchain like Google did with PageRank, but that will be it. That's my p

For some production use cases, it is possible and others it is not or extremely difficult. There are a few reasons for this. The quality of search is a combination of both precision, ordering by relevance, and recall, finding relevant docum

While sleep, exercise, healthy food, etc may certainly prevent or delay the onset [1], once you have Alzheimer's, it is too late. This is like telling someone with gangrene that all they need is neosporin, a fresh bandage, and rest. Ex

Given current diagnostic technologies, correct. I think genetic data and other types of bio data can be used to invent significantly better diagnostic tools that would reduce or eliminate the problems you talk about. For example, we current

To me, blockchain is equivalent to PageRank in terms of impact. An amazing algorithm with extremely limited use cases. Maybe one company can create significant value like Google did with PageRank, but that is probably it.
