We can't keep going on like this. The vulnerability of centralised internet infrastructure is a huge problem for everyone. Somebody, somewhere, really ought to sort it all out

I think a lot of people are confused at the lack of comparative statements here. As far as I can tell, every single benefit listed in this article also comes with, say, a Python/Django stack.

I am convinced the supposed hackers, as identified by krebsonsecurity, are patsies. The purpose of the attack was to undermine confidence in Twitter as a platform, which is why the attack was intentionally amateurish.

Well my dotfile repo was archived, which to my knowledge has never had any viewers other than me. I think it may well be all of GitHub, or at least all repos that pass some measure of uniqueness

This was one of the best articles I've read all year. I'll be sure to check out the author's other work.

I'm intrigued by these typos. q to g, u to v, n to b. Are you using a handwriting recognition system, by any chance?

I recently had to download an image attachment from Gmail. The download button didn't work and the context menu (the proper route for saving an image) had been disabled. I had to go into Dev tools to get it. The internet is broken.

I think more conventional entheogens and empathogens like LSD, psilocybin, 2CB and MDMA are far more promising. Bear in mind that violent criminals are highly likely to be mentally ill. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Con
