It would degrade Bitcoin security, but worse, it's untested, behind several releases, has no replay protection and the nodes are designed to pretend to be core nodes to confuse the network. It's literally malware at this point.

What I found really infuriating about his novel about Jobs was he would quote Jobs saying something true, something that anyone who knows the history or Apple or technology of the time knows is true, and then refer to unnamed other sources

Taxes don't solve the problem, they increase it. If costs are too high, adding taxes only increases the cost more. One can argue that taxation in all its forms, including inflation, is the singular cause of all poverty in the USA-- it

One of the things about UBI is that these pilot programs aren't UBI, because they aren't universal. Giving a segment of the population free money is going to benefit that segment, no question. Welfare and Quantitative Easing are

I have the 2016 MBP, and have been using it extensively in third world conditions this year. The keyboard has been so good that I didn't even notice it. What I do notice is having to limit myself to the 15 inch display vs the two 40&q

These arguments against bitcoin have been the same since 2010. They seem to ignore the point of bitcoin (it is impossible to counterfeit, unlike fiat which is counterfeited as a matter of course by the central bank to pay the federal gover

Inflation is literally minting more money. Full stop. The definition you are giving is a propaganda line to try and rationalize robbing the populace via inflation. Even Keyenes agrees with me on this. (But thank you for not saying it&#x

I expect bitcoin will crash in the early days as well... but it's unclear how long that will be, or whether it will become a safe haven that people start buying again. Bitcoin is literally a response to the 2008 crisis-- the genesis b

Your response comes from a.... perspective on economics that makes no sense to me. It's irrelevant if others have more bitcoin... if I am getting a loan, I'm certainly going to get it in the US dollar which has already lost %99.99

It's really none of your business who owns bitcoin. This surveillance society we are in isn't keeping the %1 in check. bitcoin is a reaction to that, as well as to the fiat fractional reserve banking system. People are happy to

BCASH has less capacity than BTC does now, in large part due to Segwit (which BCASH doesn't have.) BCASH is a miner sorta scam, they will mine 60 blocks in a minute for awhile until the difficulty shifts, then not mine any blocks for 1

I still don't understand the volatility argument. Bitcoin is up 10X since spring 2016.... that volatility is not a problem! You just have to not care about the %30 up down in the middle.
