   Also great this time of year and in the same vein as Curtis Orchard is Robert Allerton park. It's about 45 minutes out of town just outside of Monticello. My grandparents took me as a kid, and it made an incredibly lasting impression.

   Believe it or not, sensibleerection.com has some of the best intelligent and witty discussion I've found on the web. Sure there's the occasional pornography post, but most all of the people there offer intelligent debate.
