I built a list app with some of those features, but I ended up favouring simpler things. Although I would love a smarter shopping list that tracks my purchasing patterns and makes suggestions based on what it thinks I'm likely to need

Since we're talking about todos, I built a screensaver todo list the other day, and it has helped me a lot. my main issue with todo lists was that I forget to look at them. Once I'm at my desk I get my head stuck in work and forge

I do remember Astrid! it was my goto app when I first got a smartphone. I use WP8 day to day but dabble in Android, I'd love to give your app a spin...

When you learn a new language, invariably you'll find a tutorial for how to make a todo app. It's the next step up from hello world. I'm not immune from it. I'm making my third todo list app at the moment. Maybe all the

I was a big advocate of OneNote until I got burned just last week. Windows Phone 8 devices suddenly stopped syncing. The outage lasted over a week. Today it seems to be back, but 10 days without the ability to view my notes was enough to ma

According to the recovered black box recordings, one of the crew did see the island, but not soon enough. Probably the most shocking part is that there was a lighthouse on this island, which was operational at the time. This is shocking bot

Not funny but sort of relevant. Here in Ireland we just had an air disaster - an air sea rescue helicopter crashed into an island off the west coast and all aboard were killed. The accident investigation has determined that the island was n

I'm not sure why, but whenever I see a link pointing to sourceforge my instant gut reaction is that it'll be a decade+ aged code that doesn't work properly anymore. I always avoid sourceforge when searching for solutions. I d

I'm honest with myself. I'm not disputing that Electron is not the most optimal way to create a desktop app, I'm saying that it makes desktop development (particularly cross-platform development) faster and easier. I know I c
