The surface page completely fails to load on my windows phone. That didn't take long! Sat what you will about Microsoft, but their making-discontinued-stuff-not-work-anymore department is amazingly good at its job

I still use a WP handset as my legit phone and will probably continue to do so until they're just not usable anymore for whatever reason. Would love to get my hands on a 1020, but I should probably just go buy one second hand. I'm

Yeah, try again in a few weeks. Once the mails reach a certain age they lose attachments. Microsoft's recommended fix is to move the mails to another folder which will make the attachments reappear

I use Foobar for music and VLC or MS "movies" for movies. I've dabbled with Groove which is an adequate music player, but not a patch on the old Zune app which I still fondly recall. I never use WMP because to me it feels lik

I'm also still using my Lumia 925 as my main phone. And despite this news I'm still thinking about buying a newer one, second hand. Every time I use android or IOS I miss tiles, pinning, the super clean settings

Everyone is ragging on American Gods here, I must be the only one who liked it. If we're talking about painful tv adaptations how about preacher? I'd love to see a culture mini series, maybe of Player of Games or Use of Weapons

Cory Doctorow's first book, Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom , is about a society in which everyone is pretty much immortal thanks to brain back up technology. I would definitely add him to the list. Also: Hannu Rajaniemi - author of
