I live in Ireland, in the countryside. The farmers here are mostly livestock so i don't think there's much insecticide use. We used to get hundreds of bugs at kitchen window on summer evenings, the last two or three years there ar

I was talking about nicely designed non-native UX/UI. Why are you talking about electron performance?

I used to care about the native feel, but now as long as something has a good UI I don't really care that much. Case in point, visual studio code. The file menu is native and that's about it. The rest is html / JavaScript and

Same here, the app has way better features than WhatsApp, which of course is the obvious alternative. Signal is supposedly very good and has a desktop app to match, but no Windows Phone client makes it a deal breaker for me

I would just drop the phrase "that actually looks good". That's purely your opinion. It also leads the reader to expect something which differs noticeably from other frameworks, and this does not. You clearly want to differen

I hate Facebook just as much as the next guy (hey, maybe more), but I suspect Google analytics is present on a lot more sites than Facebook tracking. It's cool right now to hate Facebook, which is why stories like this are getting clic

+1 for the Dev env. I think one of the reasons I've stuck with WP this long is that I can quickly build apps for it using c#, or html/js.
